INGREDIENTS:
For the marinade:
- 2 tbsp dark honey
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 8 pineapple slices,
- 1/2 inch thick
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Whisk to blend your honey, lime juice,cinnamon and olive oil in a small to medium sized bowl. Set aside.
- You can use either the grill or a grill pan, heat whatever you are using and lightly coat with cooking spray. .
- With your prepared marinade, lightly brush the pineapple.
- Grill, turning once and basting once or twice with the remaining marinade, for about 4 minutes on each side or until tender and golden. Serve while warm.
