INGREDIENTS:

 

     For the marinade:

 

  • 2 tbsp dark honey 
  • 1 tsp olive oil 
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice 
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 8 pineapple slices, 
  • 1/2 inch thick

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  • Whisk to blend your honey, lime juice,cinnamon and olive oil in a small to medium sized bowl. Set aside.
  • You can use either the grill or a grill pan, heat whatever  you are using and lightly coat with cooking spray. .
  • With your prepared marinade, lightly brush the pineapple.
  • Grill, turning once and basting once or twice with the remaining marinade, for about 4 minutes on each side or until tender and golden. Serve while warm.
