Chocolate cake with caramel filling

INGREDIENTS :

  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1 TBS baking powder
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 1 cup cocoa/cacau powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

DIRECTIONS :

  • Preheat oven to 180°c . line and grease round baking tin
  • Whisk oil with sugar together
  • Add eggs one at a time
  • Add vanilla essence
  • Mix water with cocoa and set aside till its cool
  • Sift all the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
  • Add the cocoa mixture and whisk for 5 mins bake for 40 mins
  • Let the cake cool and stack it using store bought caramel treat
