Ingredients

1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/4 cup milk, lukewarm
1 teaspoon white sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup butter
4 tablespoons white sugar
6 egg yolks
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/3 cups milk
1 cup butter, melted
12 ounces honey
2 cups raisins
1 1/2 pounds chopped walnuts
1 pinch ground cinnamon

Direction

Preheat the oven to 350 ° F (175 ° C). Coat 1 big baking sheet
with a little bit of oil.

Mix 4 tablespoons of lukewarm milk and yeast together until the
yeast has fully dissolved. Put in 3 tablespoons of flour and 1
teaspoon of sugar and give it a thorough mix then put it aside.

Cream 4 tablespoons of sugar and 1 cup of butter together. Put in
the egg yolks one by one, then add in the yeast mixture and
thoroughly mix everything together.

Thoroughly whisk the salt, 1 1/3 cups of milk and 5 cups of sifted
flour into the egg yolk mixture. Whisk the dough mixture for 10
minutes or until there are bubbles in the mixture. Cover the
dough mixture with flour and allow it to rise in volume for 2
hours.

Put the risen dough onto a clean board that is covered with flour
then divide it into 2 equal portions and flatten out each dough
portion as thin as you can.

Spread the melted butter, honey,
walnuts and raisins evenly over each flattened dough then
sprinkle it with cinnamon.

Roll up the dough so that it looks like
a jelly roll then put it onto the prepared baking sheet and let the
dough rise in volume; put the risen rolled stuffed dough in the
preheated oven and let it bake for 1 hour.
