4 jalapeno peppers, stemmed
4 cloves garlic, peeled
1 1/2 teaspoons cracked black pepper
1 tablespoon coarse salt
1/4 cup lime juice
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 1/2 pounds top sirloin steak


In a blender, add oregano, lime juice, salt, pepper, garlic and
jalapenos. Blend until smooth.

Put steak into a big resealable plastic bag or a shallow pan. Pour
the sauce over, flip to coat. Seal the bag or cover the pan, let
marinate for 8 hours or overnight in the fridge.

Set an outdoor grill over high heat and preheat; brush oil over the
grate lightly.

Drain the steak and dispose the marinade. Cook the steak on the
grill for 5 minutes each side, or until it reaches your preferred
