1/2 pound Italian sausage
1 pound ground beef
1 (16 ounce) jar tomato pasta sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
16 taco shells, heated
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning


In a big heavy skillet, combine Italian sausage and ground beef;
cook on medium heat until it browns evenly. Drain the excess
grease and season with Italian seasoning.

Heat pasta sauce in a saucepan on medium heat until it heats
through. Once warmed, stir in sugar.

Fill taco shells with meat mixture and spoon over with pasta
sauce, then top with mozzarella cheese.
